Hour One – The QUIZ – A potpourri of the hottest topics in legal malpractice and ethics, and what you need to know to protect yourself from novel malpractice risks and ethics complaints.
10 Minute Break
Hour Two – A look at Rules 4-1.4 Communication and 4-1.0 Terminology and how these Rules of Professional Conduct establish the contours of required client communication.
Ten Minute Break
Hour Three – Elimination of Bias and The Lawyer’s Duty of Communication. An analysis of: ABA Formal Opinion 500; lawyer’s responsibility to clients under the ADA; and an application of communication techniques to build cross-cultural competency.
