“To be a good lawyer, one has to be a healthy lawyer. Sadly, our profession is falling short when it comes to well-being.”

“Research confirms that environments that facilitate control and autonomy contribute to optimal functioning and well-being.”
– ABA National Task Force on Lawyer Well-Being

Many things in the practice of law are beyond a lawyer’s control, from clients’ conduct to nonstop deadlines, which detrimentally affect lawyers’ lifestyles and health. This program will help lawyers identify behaviors that place colleagues and themselves at risk for mental health and substance abuse disorders and focus on issues that are within lawyers’ control.

This program is approved for 2.0 Hour Ethics and Professionalism Credit.
