The 2016 Golf Tournament beneficiaries are:
Eric’s Camp Fund: The story of Eric’s Camp Fund begins in the summer of 1988 with a young man named Eric Druten. After battling cancer at age 10, Eric was one of the first campers to experience the magic of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Connecticut. This haven for children with serious illnesses was created so they would have a place to just be kids. Their mission is to continue Eric’s dream to share the magic of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp with children from Kansas City and surrounding communities whose childhoods have been interrupted by cancer.
Confluence Missouri, Inc.: Confluence is a not-for-profit organization, with a mission to work with individuals, businesses, communities, courts and other institutions to manage and resolve conflict applying researched-based methods as well as common sense strategies. Confluence’s strategic plan includes implementation of new programs for affordable civil and family court mediation; conflict coaching and communication skill building; and other litigant support services.
The Bar Plan Foundation: Awards annual scholarships to law students at Missouri and Kansas law schools who have exemplified the highest ethics and professionalism in their scholastic and community life.
