Surety and Fidelity
The Bar Plan Surety and Fidelity Company (TBPS&F) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TBP Holding Company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Bar Plan Mutual Insurance Company. TBPS&F was incorporated on August 14, 1998 and became a licensed surety and fidelity insurance company on February 5, 1999.
TBPS&F was created to provide bonds to the attorneys' clients for various court proceedings. We are different from other insurance companies because we understand the urgency associated with legal proceedings and our mission is to provide a 24-hour turnaround, competitive rates and flexible underwriting.
The Bar Plan Surety and Fidelity Company has a solid financial backing from its reinsurers, Swiss Reinsurance America Corporation (A+ Rating) and Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America (A- Rating).
TBPS&F's Board is comprised of practicing attorneys and insurance executives.
